Remember Me on September 11, 2001: A Love Story

11th day of September 2001, a day to be remembered and commemorated, especially to those people who lost someone they loved, like a family or a friend, or a lover.

Remember Me is a 2010 film starring Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Chris Cooper, Lena Olin, and Pierce Brosnan and directed by Allen Coulter. A dramatic love story between Tyler, a moody, directionless, yet good-moraled 21-year-old guy and Ally, daughter of an NYPD detective.

Late at night on the elevated platform of a subway, a young Allyssa 'Ally' Craig  was with her mother. The mother and her child were happily dancing together until they were interrupted by two thieves. The mother was murdered in front of her child. After the incident had happened, Ally never took the subway train ever again.
Ally's father, Neil Craig, became overprotected to his daughter. He was an NYPD detective.

This is not Edward Cullen, this is Tyler Keats Hawkins. He's a 21-year old guy who smells like beer and cigarette.

Tyler always had an air of hatred to his businessman father, Charles Hawkins. Tyler blames his father to the death of his brother who named Michael. Michael committed suicide due to the pressure his father delivered on him.

Tyler's maybe a bit of a bad boy, but he will always have a big heart for his younger sister. He was the one who always stood up for her sister when she's in midst of uncertainty.

Here's the scene where Tyler meets Neil. Tyler was caught on a fight together with his friend and roommate, Aidan, But because of Tyler's rough attitude, Neil forced to smash Tyler's face on a car and arrest him.

Aidan discovered that Neil Craig had a daughter who's also studying in the same university where they were both enrolled. Aidan suggested to make a revenge to the NYPD detective that put them into jail by making Ally, the daughter of the detective, to fall in love with the charms of very handsome Tyler and then break her heart.

Tyler introduced himself to Ally. Ally seemed to liked the charms of Tyler. They dated and I think they enjoyed being with each other's arms.

Tyler never planned to fall in love with Ally. He supposed to dump her with regards to retaliating his detective father whom they had conflicted with.

Tyler revealed to Ally his original plans on her. Ally felt sick to this discovery and that's when she left him.

Isn't obvious that they loved each other so much? So Tyler apologized and of course it was accepted.

Tyler's relationship with his father is kind of rough. Until one incident tend to make themselves together. This is where Caroline was bullied by her classmates by cutting her hair off. And that's the time where Charles had a chance to make himself up to his daughter.

Finally, Charles and Tyler agreed to each other. Tyler is now going to work to his father, while his father will going to bring Caroline to school.

Now, we're going to see this handsome young man going into the office of his father.

While waiting his father to his office, everything seemed to be perfect until Tyler saw something's coming.
And this is what he saw:

Tyler's diary:
Whatever you do in life will be
insignificant but it is very
important that you do it because...
You can't know...
You can't ever really know the
meaning of your life...
And you don't need to...
Just know that your life has a
meaning...
Every life has a meaning... whether
it lasts one hundred years or one
hundred seconds... Every life...
And every death... changes the
world in its own way...
Ghandi knew this. He knew his life
would mean something to someone,
somewhere, somehow. And he knew
with as much certainty that he
could never know that meaning...
He understood that enjoying life
should be of much greater concern
then understanding it. And so do I.
You can't know...
So don't take it for granted...
But don't take it too seriously...
Don't postpone what you want...
Don't leave anything
misunderstood...
Make sure the people you care about
know...
Make sure they know how you really
feel...
Because just like that...
It could end.
